Build up and hard surfacing of coring augers for the early geo-tech work.
We produced Bolt cage support channels at the rate of 24 per day for the foundation portion of the project.
These aluminum adapter plates were made to facilitate a change in anemometers. LMI Welding milled, drilled, tapped, counter bored and put a nice finish on these brackets that measure less than 2 ˝ inches square.

The job called for some large hand tools to make an emergency repair. We milled out a large metric allen wrench for one of the tools and cut out the other wrench, case hardened it and clear coated them to make a durable and long lasting tool set.

A Blade Angle Gauge we imprinted and then laminated on galvanized steel for the commissioning of the towers.
Ladder alignment tools fabricated from scratch using a broken/damaged one for a pattern. LMI Welding fabricated these “Hootikaj sockets” for running the nuts down onto the tower pedestal bolts.

The tower manufacturer gave us a phone call describing these 20 degree indicators for flange bolts. We fabricated them as they described, then gave them one we designed as a “new and improved” model and had them delivered to them and ready to go to work in a very short time.
Copper transformer connections were formed and drilled to specifications and the project never slowed down.
LMI Welding used its’ skill on the lathe and milling machine to turn down these Hi-Torque test inserts.
